Photoshoot plans

I have used a website called storyboard that in order to create 3 image ideas for each model, allowing me to evaluate which one will work the best and how to improve upon it. These will provide a basis for my original imagery that I will be using in my magazine covers. These are all linked directly to my location exploration. 1st model cover ideas I these first ideas I shall be using a decorated house that's full of Christmas scenery and lights. I will use a low angle shot for all of these plans so that it makes the model seem more powerful and this will allow me to gain a full shot of the house, showing all of the decorations. I will use a slow shutter speed and a tripod so that all of the flashing lights will be captured by the lens and look like they're still, this means that there will be no gaps in the images. Contents pages research

In order to make a relevant and useful contents page for both magazine covers I have produced, I will need to research other magazines contents pages, such as vogue. On this blog I have written down all of my research and findings so that you can see how I have come to a final decision on what template and style I shall be using. Vogue In the Vogue contents page they have used the large masthead which overlaps the image to make it more prominent on the page and remind the viewer that they're reading a fashion magazine. Overlapping that you have the black, juxtaposing month to remind the reader what issue they have. They have then placed a small image of model just underneath the title so that the viewer can see the whole image and her and the fashion are not blocked by any writing, this draws attention to the image and the fashion. Website research

For my online website research I shall be analysing two of Bauer media's own magazine websites, Heat and Grazia In order to make my website keep the house style and media messages that Bauer have created. Heat This is he top of the website for Heat magazine, we can see a red skyline with the title, celebrity, entertainment, style, hair and beauty, win, mental health and subscriptions. On the right of the navigational features we have the five social media platform icons directing the user directly to their social media pages. This is used to appeal to their young, digitally naïve audience of 16-25 year olds as they're going to be drawn to the media platforms rather than the normal website. Underneath the web banner we have a direct link to the Heat radio station with all of the best stars from Ariana to Cheryle, this is again used to attract the younger audience that know all of the famous artists on the background.
